HESP Alliance welcomes BuyDRM as new member
Leuven, Belgium – January 24, 2023 – The HESP Alliance today announced that BuyDRM, a leading provider of watermarking and multi-DRM services for streaming video, signed up as a member. BuyDRM will be able to provide for secure high efficiency streaming through HESP.
The HESP Alliance aims to accelerate standardization and large-scale adoption of high efficiency streaming through HESP. HESP Alliance members can license the technology; integrate it into their video packaging and playback solutions; and develop and share HESP extensions to drive further innovation. A verification program for HESP solutions ensures interoperability across packaging, playback and CDN solutions and provides peace of mind for media companies deploying high efficiency streaming services.
HESP is compatible with studio-approved DRM solutions, such as BuyDRM’s multi-DRM and watermarking platform KeyOS. It is hence a straightforward deployment for media companies looking to provide secure high efficiency streaming experiences, which fulfill the increasing demands of viewers for scalable interactivity and fast zapping, across any device, both on mobile and the big screen.
